Dr Rob McMorran is a researcher at SRUC, with a special interest in land reform and community land ownership. In this video, Rob discusses the land ownership context in Scotland, the history of its existence, and the future types of land ownership and community land ownership in Scotland. He also discusses, the impacts of CAP incentivising land owners, the possibilities of new land uses such as rewilding, and political changes such as Brexit that may alter payments and have consequences for the land use in rural Scotland.
